Professional Information
Dr. Osama Sohaib is an Associate Professor of Business Analytics in the Department of Statistics and Business Analytics at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). He earned his Ph.D. in Information Systems from the University of Technology Sydney (QS Top 100) and brings over 15 years of academic experience in teaching and research supervision at undergraduate, master’s, and PhD levels in Information Systems and Business Analytics.
Before UAEU, Dr. Sohaib served as Associate Professor at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (2022–2025) and as Lecturer (Asst Prof) at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia (2016–2022), where he played an active role in curriculum development and accreditation initiatives. He remains affiliated with UTS as an Adjunct Fellow, supervising PhD students and collaborating on research projects.
From 2012 to 2022, he also contributed to teaching and research at prominent Australian universities, including the University of New South Wales, Macquarie University, and Victoria University, enhancing programs in business analytics and information systems.
