Nowadays, booming in 3D printing technology has invaded the world through different directions and aspects. Although the 3D printers are available in cheap prices for table models to enhance students grasp and creativity, still adopting 3D printing concepts in education is quite challenging due to many reasons. In this paper, the 3D printing innovations in UAE are reviewed. Besides, teaching challenges and achievements are discussed for the 3D printing training course for the secondary schools that was hosted by UAEU during Summer Challenge 2017 that was sponsored by Abu Dhabi Education Council. Recommendations and suggestions are elaborated as well.
