Abstract

In this paper, we present a system for the co-operative design of intelligent tutoring systems. Built based on a client-server architecture, the system allows several authors geographically scattered to collaborate to produce such tutors together. We consider, within this framework, the creation of a shared workspace gathering all the tools necessary to the co-operative development of an intelligent tutor. We define in this context the mechanism needed to manage the notification and feedback of the group and, as for any distributed system, we define the supporting tools to ensure the integrity of data dispersed through the various concerned sites.
