Abstract
We report the incidental discovery of marked delay of bone ossification on a knee X-ray carried out on a neonate who sustained an accidental fall at home. The case emphasizes the need to be familiar with the suggestive radiological findings which may also be used to confirm the clinical suspicion of congenital hypothyroidism before the results of thyroid functions are available.
