Abstract
In a study of 184 patients with cancer of the colon, a multivariate analysis was performed with the aid of Cox's method, in order to obtain a better understanding of the prognostic influence of some normal clinical data upon postoperative life-expectancy. Two simple tables were constructed based on our own patients' data which would allow rapid orientation in the office, when required for giving an indication of life expectancy.
