    Abstract

This paper will present a new paradigm on how to speed up RTL simulation using innovative parallelization techniques. A partitioning technique based on fanin cones is shown to give a good coarse grain task scheduling. A generic model will be used to schedule these tasks. The scheduling problem will be formulated as an optimization problem. This optimization problem will be used to reduce the overall workload, maximize the load balance, and minimize the communication overhead between the different nodes.
