Abstract

A new p-type semi-conducting and 2D coordination polymer (CP) based on a thiolate ligand and Cu(+i) exhibits a record Seebeck coefficient among CPs, equivalent to that obtained for inorganic compounds. Such a high value originates from the 1D {Cu-S}n tubular inorganic network, which is connected through the bridging 1,3-benzenedithiolate ligand.
