Abstract

In this paper we present a fault detection, isolation and estimation method dedicated to actuator failures for an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). The method is based on the use of Unknown Input Decoupled Functional Observers (UIDFO) and allows to deal with constant and variable failures. In extension of [1], observer design parameters are discussed.
