Applications of DES in nanomaterials

Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) have recently attracted a lot of attention in several disciplines, including nanotechnology. As a result, numerous studies have been conducted to highlight the values and the interactions between DESs and nanomaterials. This chapter discusses a brief history of nanomaterials and DES, various applications of DESs in nanomaterials, along with a few notable recent developments in creating nanomaterials, which are used in renewable energy sources and are discussed here. Last but not least, we discuss the long-term effects of utilizing this unique solvent in nanomaterials, as well as the challenges and potential possibilities for nanomaterials in our final section.
