    Abstract

This paper presents an efficient blind Bayesian multiuser receiver for long code multipath CDMA systems. An adaptive sampling method, which is a kind of Markov chain Monte Carlo procedure, is used to perform the Bayesian inference with the process of estimating data symbols and multipath parameters. The main achievement of the proposed approach is to remove the burn-in period that is needed by other reported Bayesian Monte Carlo methods. Simulations demonstrate that the proposed approach achieves a faster convergence with a slightly improved BER performance for long code multipath CDMA systems.
