Abstract
Bioresorbable vascular scaffold, is a new possible alternative to drug eluting stents. However there is lack of studies and guidelines regarding its indications and limitations. Moreover, the hasty, off label use of this device among cardiologists is concerning. We present an unusual complication of bioresorbable vascular scaffold. The addition of each such case to literature will enlighten the physician community about this new technology, its use and current limitations.
