Abstract

In this short comment, we address several approximations and assumptions in a model of tsunami reconstruction from the characteristics of tsunami deposits, presented by Soulsby et al. (2007) in a conference, and adapted by Srisutam and Wagner (2010) to the 2004 tsunami deposits in Thailand.
