Continuous monitoring of respiratory gases during one-lung anaesthesia

Abstract

A technique for continuous monitoring of respiratory gases in one-lung anaesthesia is described. The gas analyser is connected to either limb of a double-lumen endobronchial tube which allows monitoring of the ventilation of each lung separately.
