Abstract

This work presents an electromechanical model describing the load sway dynamics with the stator voltage as input. A state feedback controller is developed to suppress the load sway quickly. The control scheme is based on a reduced order model obtained by singular perturbation. A numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed controller.
