Abstract
Cancer growth inhibition has been a challenge for researchers for decades. Finding suitable complexes for treatment has been a promising technique, though. Dimethyl-tin(IV) valsartan complex has been synthesized, characterized and tested as anti-cancer against A549 cell line. According to the FTIR,1H-NMR and119Sn-NMR spectroscopy, the suggested geometry for the complex is octahedral. Me2 SnL2 complex exhibit cytotoxicity for human lung cancer based on MTT assay. The achieved percentage of growth inhibition for cancer cells reach 60% at 100 µg/mL concentration.
