    Abstract

Recent years have witnessed the development of wide-range of wireless technologies. Next communication systems are aimed at existing and emerging wireless to enable ubiquitous network access to end-users. The availability of various networks requires a mobile device to be of selecting the best access network with user intervention. We present a design called TAILOR that efficiently automatic network selection based several factors such as the conditions of networks, requirements of active , and preferences of the mobile user. also present a case study to demonstrate the of the prototype TAILOR architecture a real heterogeneous network testbed of IEEE 802.11b and General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) networks.
