N2 - A new seismic metamaterial application is proposed in this study for an earthquake zone in Turkey, which has abundant boron mine resources. In the study, circular and square pile applications in a square field were selected. Boron material was chosen because of its great density and strength. Furthermore, a layered construction was created from rubber, steel on the outside, and boron mine on the inside of the unit cell. Full band gaps around 1.5 Hz, 3.5 Hz, and 4.5 Hz frequencies, on the other hand, have been obtained as a result of seismic metamaterial applications involving circular and square structures having a length of 6 m and a width of 2 m. As a result, the planned structure has been demonstrated to be functional with the geometric design stated in the square arrangement.
