Abstract
This chapter explores approaches to policy that target the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to address the impacts of climate change. It sheds light on the strategies employed by governments and policymakers to tackle the challenge of decreasing GHG emissions. The discussed policy methods include mechanisms for pricing carbon, regulations incentives for energy, and initiatives promoting transportation. The study underscores the significance of adopting an approach that combines policy instruments to effectively curb GHG emissions and shift toward a more sustainable and low-carbon future.
