Evaluation of religious program presenter's skills on Jordanian TV from the viewpoint of the faculty staff of Shari'a colleges in Jordanian universities

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the evaluation of the skills of the religious program providers in Jordanian TV from the point of view of the faculty members of Sharia in the Jordanian universities. The descriptive analytical approach was used. The study sample consisted of (60) faculty members in Sharia in Jordanian universities. The results of the study showed that the mathematical averages for the level of assessment of the skills as a whole (3.20). And the absence of statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) attributed to the impact of the university, and sex in all fields. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) due to the effect of academic rank in the fields of body language and technical factors, between assistant professor and professor. The researcher recommended activating the role of religious program providers in Jordanian TV and highlighting their importance in religious awareness and the formation of the Islamic values system.
