Abstract
We describe in this second article the step-by-step design and use of a spreadsheet to analyze the results of a diagnostic test in the literature. Automatically computed results are the sensitivity, specificity and likelihood ratios. The spreadsheet also computes the post-test probability of diagnosing a disease based on the prevalence of that disease in one's practice. The result is, therefore, unique to this group of patients.
