Abstract
Theoretical analysis and experimental results of a one-step method to produce directly a holographic array illuminator designed for reconstructing a real image of a periodic mask with a wavelength different from that used for recording are described. Only the optimal location of the thick phase hologram (for high diffraction efficiency) and the incidence angles (for low astigmatic aberration due to wavelength change) have to be optimized.
