This research explores how real-time monitoring, data analytics, and automation can optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability performance. It identifies strategies and methods for incorporating sustainability into Industry 4.0, highlighting the potential for manufacturers to improve both environmental and economic outcomes. The proposed strategies highlight the potential for manufacturers to meet sustainability goals while remaining competitive in a changing market.
