Abstract
During recent years, the field of soft-tissue augmentation has seen a boom in materials used and innovation in technique. The lips are an important part of the body where beautification has been sought. This article summarizes the importance of the lips and different techniques used to enhance them, including the latest advancement in synthetic filler material used for that purpose. It also highlights the author's own method of lip augmentation and the specific materials used to achieve such results.
