Abstract

A modified many body T-matrix theory was proposed for dilute Bose gases, in which the phase fluctuations were treated exactly. Fractional depletion of the condensate was calculated in one, two and three dimensions. The theory was used to calculate the reduction of the recombination rate of a hydrogen system. The resulting equation of state was free of infrared divergences.
