Abstract
Mathematical models for a mechanical structural system are derived. The unknown model parameters are identified by on-line schemes that utilize excitation and response records. The data records may be contaminated with noise and the parameters may be time-varying. Almost sure convergence of the identification schemes is proved under general conditions, even if the parameters vary in a stochastic way.
