Abstract
In this article, we propose a modification of the original Wynn's sequential algorithm (1970). We reduce the number of steps needed to construct D-optimal designs by the original Wynn's Sequential algorithm roughly by a half. This can be achieved by adding two points to the design at each step. We also prove the convergence of the modified algorithm to a D-optimal design.
