Abstract

Solutions for radiative heat transfer in irregular two-dimensional geometries are presented. Enclosures with absorbing, emitting and anisotropically scattering media have been treated using the Monte Carlo method. Irregular geometries with straight and curved boundaries have been considered. Results for several cases are presented which can be used for validation of new solution methods.
