Abstract
Nanotechnology is widely considered one of the leading technologies for economy diversification. Countries that have adopted nano-innovations into their theme of diversification are collecting the fruits of their investment. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has recently adopted a wide range of technologies for creating a diverse economy that is not dependent on oil. This article reviews the current status of nanotechnology and its future development in UAE.
