Norm-conserving condition for a non-central potential: The hydrogen molecule ion

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

A generalization of the norm-conserving condition for the simplest non-central potential, the hydrogen molecule ion, is presented. This new condition may have applications in the design of any molecular pseudopotential describing the scattering of an electron by two protons, which may be of some interest in astrophysics.
