Abstract

We propose a model for microwave power transmission in superconducting lines and resonators. The correct current density incorporating the critical current density is used. A numerical self-consistent method is suggested to calculate different transport quantities, such as the surface resistance and the quality factor as function of both temperature and magnetic field. The effect of the strength of pinning on the transport properties is studied, as well. Some of these results are compared with experiment.
