Abstract

This chapter will not only delve into the rising interest in mental health among children and adolescents but also provide a comprehensive examination of schoolbased mental health programs and interventions, providing practical guidance for stakeholders.The aim is to assess their effectiveness in supporting students facing mental health challenges. Importantly, this chapter will offer practical strategies and evidence- based solutions that are readily applicable in helping school districts implement effective mental health interventions tailored to the diverse needs of students. By targeting prevalent challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and others, school communities can advocate for the well- being and safety of their students. Educators, mental health practitioners, and policymakers can benefit from understanding the most effective programs and areas for improvement in current interventions. Ultimately, this discussion will contribute to enhancing the efficacy and future implementation of school- based mental health interventions.
