Abstract
Surgical resection is the only management option that offers a cure for cholangiocarcinoma but since the majority are unresectable at the time of presentation, palliative drainage in the form of intrahepatic biliary-enteric bypass or percutaneous transhepatic stenting remain the only two therapeutic options. This is a case report of an adult with cholangiocarcinoma treated palliatively, but successfully, using dual bypass.
