Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic and the Russo-Ukrainian conflict have severely impacted global food supply chains (FSCs), posing significant risks for food-import-dependent economies like the UAE. This study develops an integrated fuzzy Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) framework combining the Fuzzy Delphi (FD) method and the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) to systematically identify, prioritize, and mitigate FSC disruptions. Our results highlight transportation and logistics failures as the most severe disruptions, while digitalization and Industry 4.0 technologies emerge as the most effective mitigation strategies.
