Abstract
In this paper, an efficient real-time scheduling algorithm for delivering multimedia documents on broadband networks is discussed. This server-based algorithm uses heuristic search approach representation to dynamically schedule real-time multimedia objects that compose multimedia documents on the network channels. The technique we propose automatically controls and allocates the algorithm run-time cost, in order to minimise the time-constraints violation of real-time multimedia objects.
