N2 - Main text(Molecular Therapy 24:746–758; April 2016) This article has been retracted at the request of the editor-in-chief. Concerns regarding potential image duplication and manipulation in Figures 3A and 4D were posted to Pubpeer (https://pubpeer.com/publications/FD53F6A025FA421799E23221324D3A). The corresponding author contacted the editorial office with a request to correct Figure 3A. However, image analysis performed by the editorial office revealed the revised Figure 3A still contained image duplication and indicated potential image manipulation in Figure 4D. Additional instances of image duplication were found within Figures S13 (spleen, control, and C2-9r images) and S14 (striatum images). In response, the editors requested all original data to fully investigate the concerns. Per journal policy, the editors, at their discretion, may request deposition of any or all original data files for examination by the reviewers and/or editors. The original data provided did not alleviate the concerns, and so the editors feel that the findings of the manuscript cannot be relied upon. The authors disagree with the retraction and maintain that these issues do not impact the results of their study.
