Abstract

We determined reference values of selected biochemical tests in serum (Na+, K+, C1-, urea, creatinine, Mg, Ca, phosphate, Cu, Zn, total protein, osmolality) and in urine (Na+, K+, CI-, urea, creatinine, Mg, Ca, phosphate, Cu, Zn, total protein, osmolality, creatinine clearance, fractional excretion of electrolytes) in 148 healthy children (age 10-14, 96 males and 52 females). Significant differences between reference values of this age group and other age groups were found. Significant sex related differences of reference values of S-urea, S.phosphate, S.total protein were also found.
