Abstract

Demographic trends, in conjunction with increased awareness and availability of minimally invasive treatments, have led to a more diverse patient population in the aesthetic industry. As more patients with skin of color seek cosmetic treatments, it is imperative for physicians to be aware of anatomical variations, differences in aesthetic preferences, and the current evidence. This chapter aims to provide an overview of these areas and a clinical approach tailored for soft tissue filler treatments in patients with SOC.
