Abstract

The spawning seasons of this rabbitfish starts in March with a peak in April. Males were dominant during the spawning season. Fecundity of the ripe female reaches 1 000 000 eggs. Vertebral circuli are the most reliable method of ageing. The female is heavier than the male in relation to length. -from Author
