Abstract
In this study the authors analyse the asymptotic distribution of estimated a posteriori Wiener filtering of averaged evoked responses and the problem of the existence and convergence of moments of the estimated filter and the filtered signal. The authors conclude that the only justification of a posteriori Wiener filtering lies in the possibility to use it as a vehicle of a priori information.
