Abstract

MENA region holds immense potential to become a global leader in STEM education, but this requires coordinated action, sustained investment, and a commitment to inclusive and future-ready reform. By empowering educators, embracing pedagogical innovation, and closing equity gaps, STEM education can truly become the engine of transformation for MENA's next generation. The most important ideas from this chapter center on the critical role of teacher preparation, modern pedagogy, inclusive policy, and assessment reform in shaping the future of STEM education in MENA. With focused investment in infrastructure, active learning, and culturally responsive curricula-supported by a regional framework for collaboration-MENA countries can create resilient, future-ready education systems that empower all students to thrive in a technology-driven, knowledge-based global economy.
