Abstract

Surface tension data of binary mixtures of glycerol with methanol, 1-propanol, acetic acid, propionic acid, dimethyl sulfoxide, and N,N-dimethylformamlde have been measured with a Du Nöuy torsion balance by a ring-detachment method. The values of the excess surface tension for these mixtures were also calculated.
