Abstract

The title compound (AQ-dA) is obtained by coupling O^3′, O^5′-bisTBDMS-protected 2′-deoxyadenosine with 1,1′-carbonyldiimidazole-activated anthraquinone-2-carboxylic acid followed by fluoride-ion assisted desilylation.
