Abstract

We show that the K-matrix unitarization scheme used to calculate the ππ scattering amplitude in the framework of σπ linear sigma model can be employed to obtain information about WW scattering amplitude in the Standard Model where the physical scalar particles are too heavy. We show how the above procedure can be followed in comparing the Higgs sector of two Higgs doublet models with the linear sigma model with two nonets in the limit of very heavy physical scalar particles.
