The cryptanalysis and extension of the generalized golden cryptography

Abstract

In this paper we investigate the security of the generalized golden cryptography introduced in [7], and show that this cryptographic method is not secure against the chosen-plaintext attack. Moreover, we show that the security of the generalized golden cryptography can be improved by using one-way hash functions.
