Abstract

The world is struggling due to the issue of climate change; therefore, it is essential to develop collaborative effort from a coalition of organizations to make sustainability education effective. This not only promotes ways to amend sustainable practices; but also, it helps address sustainability issues at a global level. The present research has been attempted for the purpose of defining the future of sustainability education through integrating the subject into mainstream education and policy frameworks. Also, focus has been laid on defining the role of technological advancements, which not only improves teaching and learning processes but also defines the contribution of technology in saving the environment. From the study, several challenges have been identified that impede sustainability education; therefore, it is essential to take necessary steps or formulate effective strategies to improve sustainability efforts in the community.
