    Abstract

Vehicles form trust relationships with other vehicles in a network for many reasons. These trust relations can be utilized for enhancing the performance and reliability of some applications. In this paper, we investigate the effect of trust on the decision making process in vehicular applications. We develop an analytical model that associates trust with the performance of the decision making process and the correctness rate. We provide some analyses and discussions in that regard.
